Medieval Mystery Dinner: As soon as you enter the castle grounds, you are transported back in time by several hundred years. The castle walls, up to 2 meter (6 feet) thick, are full of history and are ready to tell a story. Resident ghosts are always present and occasionally reveal themselves to visitors. |

The lord and lady of the castle host dinner receptions, where guests are transported back in time for a magic night. During these extremely popular events, guests can experience the authentic ambience of life in a medieval castle way back when. Guests will experience dinner as they did then, enjoy a night's stay at the castle under (almost) medieval conditions and a french breakfast the next morning when ghost stories can be shared among the guests. |

These mystery castle events start in the afternoon, with a wine tasting in the main hall in front of the large burning fireplace. Then guests are shown to their bed chambers and the dinner begins at around 7:30pm in the Salle du Seigneurs. Of course the fire is already burning and the scene is set for an unforgettable evening full of surprises. Musicians perform medieval music during the evening. |

Guests should be prepared for anything at this point. There could be a roaming knight showing up, or a medieval priest performing a ritual, or a court magician performing tricks. This is fairly unpredictable. After dinner, there is a candle lit tour of the castle. When guests finally retire to their bed chambers, they will have forgotten which century they belong to and wonder what's a dream and what's reality. In the morning breakfast is the best time to share stories among the guests. |
